Reo Hatate a ‘Big Money’ Transfer Target for Leicester City as Celtic Prepare for Bid

Reo Hatate has become a significant transfer target for Leicester City. Celtic have been fending off bids from Atalanta for playmaker Matt O’Riley, with several offers from the Serie A club being rejected.
Now, the newly-promoted Foxes are reportedly interested in Hatate, who has expressed a desire to play in the English top flight eventually.
According to the Daily Mail, Leicester manager Steve Cooper wants to strengthen his squad, and the skilled Japanese midfielder would be an ideal addition for the upcoming season.
While an official bid has not yet been made, Celtic are aware of Leicester’s genuine interest and are preparing for an offer.
Celtic recently turned down an offer from Zenit St. Petersburg in the Russian Premier League for Hatate.
With Hatate under contract until 2028, Brendan Rodgers and the club are in a strong position to continue rejecting bids and retaining their player.
