Following the club’s failure to secure promotion and the constraints of Profit and Sustainability Rules, considerable player movement is anticipated at Elland Road in the coming months. While fresh investment from new minority owners Red Bull will be beneficial, chairman Paraag Marathe has acknowledged to the YEP that the club will face “certain trade-offs.” New signings are also expected at LS11 to equip manager Daniel Farke with the squad needed to achieve promotion on the second attempt. However, Leeds has a strong tradition of developing talent through their Academy, as evidenced by their under-18s reaching last year’s FA Youth Cup final, indicating a promising future.
