In an interview with Pro Direct, Mbeumo—who represents Cameroon at international level—named Newcastle’s stadium as one of his favourites.

The 25-year-old forward has just 12 months remaining on his contract, which makes a summer move increasingly likely.
The Telegraph reports that a transfer fee between £50 million and £60 million could be enough to secure his services.
Despite currently operating without a Sporting Director following Paul Mitchell’s departure, Newcastle are expected to initiate the bidding at £50 million.
If Brentford reject that offer, the Magpies may be willing to increase it closer to £60 million.
Mbeumo is seen as a long-term target for Newcastle, and the club is reportedly laying the groundwork to move swiftly and decisively.
Given the combination of Mbeumo’s admiration for the club, his strong form, and contract situation, Newcastle may well prioritise sealing the deal early in the transfer window.
