Everton star sidelined with injury after 65 minutes during international duty

Jarrad Branthwaite has been one of several Everton players struggling with injuries and fitness at the start of the season, limiting him to just one appearance so far.

His return to the defense in the match against Crystal Palace was a welcome boost, leading to Everton’s only Premier League win of the current campaign.

In addition to Branthwaite, Armando Broja, Nathan Patterson, and Vitalii Mykolenko have been dealing with injuries.

Patterson and Mykolenko are expected to be available for the Ipswich Town game.

However, Everton’s injury list may be growing as Iliman Ndiaye has picked up an injury.

Ndiaye suffered the injury during Senegal’s match against Malawi.

After 65 minutes, he went down for treatment and was substituted, though the severity of the injury is still unclear.

Before his injury, Ndiaye was having an excellent game for Senegal.

He recorded 43 touches, with a 90% passing accuracy, made one key pass, provided an assist, took two shots off target, had one shot blocked, completed three of four dribbles, won five duels, lost possession eight times, was fouled once, and made one tackle.

Since joining Everton in the summer, Ndiaye has been a standout performer.

His dribbling ability has even drawn comparisons to Steven Pienaar, as he effortlessly glides past opponents while maintaining close control of the ball.

Any extended absence for Ndiaye would be a significant blow for Everton, as he has quickly become a key player in their attack.

Michael Keane has already recognized Ndiaye’s quality and the impact he has made in the final third.
