Leeds United Team News vs Bristol City: Daniel Farke Makes Two Changes with a Surprise Inclusion

Leeds United Set to Face Bristol City at Ashton Gate as Daniel Farke Announces Squad with Two Lineup Changes

Suspension and injuries have influenced Daniel Farke’s team selection for Leeds United’s match in Bristol on Saturday.

Junior Firpo and Largie Ramazani are out of the starting lineup, with new signing Josuha Guilavogui on the bench for the first time.

Sam Byram takes over at left-back, marking his first league start this season, while Daniel James is chosen over Manor Solomon to fill Ramazani’s spot on the left wing.

This choice is somewhat unexpected, as Solomon recently returned from injury and was Farke’s bench pick in midweek.

Guilavogui joins the squad with hopes of seeing some action, and Joe Gelhardt is also included due to Ramazani’s absence.

Joe Rodon and Jayden Bogle, both with four yellow cards this season, start the match and will need to be cautious.

Rodon remains the only Leeds player who has started every match across all competitions this season.

Alex Cairns is with the team but is not listed on the match sheet.

Refereeing today’s match against Bristol City is James Linington, with Andrew Fox, Daniel Leach, and fourth official Dean Whitestone assisting.

Leeds United lineup: Illan Meslier; Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk, Sam Byram; Joe Rothwell, Ao Tanaka; Wilfried Gnonto, Brenden Aaronson, Manor Solomon; Joel Piroe.

Substitutes: Karl Darlow, Daniel James, Patrick Bamford, Mateo Joseph, Josuha Guilavogui, Joe Gelhardt, Issac Schmidt, James Debayo, Charlie Crew.
