Speaking to West Ham Zone, Bardell stated: “It depends on where he could move and how often he would play. He’s 27 now, at his peak.
When you hit 27 or 28, clubs are often reluctant to spend big money, and Bowen would command a massive fee.
“He clearly loves being at West Ham. I question why he would want to leave. West Ham is a great club, and he’s the talisman.
Players sometimes move too quickly, and I’m not sure it would benefit his career.
“If he joined Chelsea, for example, he might not play regularly. At West Ham, he knows he’ll feature every week.”
West Ham would demand a significant fee for Jarrod Bowen, reflecting his value to the team.
Losing the England international would be a substantial setback for the Hammers, given his influence and leadership on the pitch.
