Report: Tottenham may target £20m striker as an alternative to Randal Kolo Muani.

TBR Football reports that Tottenham expressed interest in signing Kolo Muani after PSG deemed the France international surplus to requirements.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport now claims that Juventus are close to securing the PSG No.23 on loan.

Sources also revealed to TBR Football that Arsenal were offered Kolo Muani within the past 24 hours before Juventus intensified their pursuit.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham have shifted their focus to another forward, Evann Guessand, following the developments regarding Randal Kolo Muani.

Tottenham Eyeing Evann Guessand, but West Ham Also Interested

Matt Barlow has disclosed that Spurs are monitoring the Ivory Coast international, who is also attracting attention from West Ham and Bournemouth.

The Daily Mail suggests that OGC Nice could entertain bids of approximately £20m for Guessand, despite recently extending his contract until 2028.

The Ivorian has enjoyed an impressive 2024/25 campaign, registering eight goals and four assists in 17 Ligue 1 appearances.

His performances earned him a spot in L’Equipe’s “Team of the Season So Far.”

West Ham reportedly scouted Guessand during November and December.

However, their search for a new striker has now become urgent due to injuries to Niclas Füllkrug, Michail Antonio, and Jarrod Bowen.

Evann Guessand’s Versatility Appeals to Ange Postecoglou

The 23-year-old Guessand is a versatile forward capable of playing across the frontline. In an interview with OGC Nice, he explained:

“I was trained as a winger, and even with the national team, I played as a winger.

Then I grew physically, so I was moved to the center.

At Nantes, I played three-quarters of the season on the right flank. I’m less of a traditional No.9 and can play in all attacking positions.

Against Lorient, I played up front; against Lille, on the flank. I enjoy playing in all attacking roles.”

This adaptability would be highly beneficial to Ange Postecoglou, especially with injuries piling up.

Timo Werner is sidelined with a hamstring injury, while Richarlison and Wilson Odobert are also unavailable, leaving Tottenham in need of attacking reinforcements.
