West Ham eye £14m striker with a leap higher than Ronaldo’s, claims journalist.
West Ham intensify their search for a new striker ahead of the February 3rd transfer deadline.

TBR Football reports that West Ham United are set to part ways with Technical Director Tim Steidten after Graham Potter decided to appoint Kyle Macaulay as the club’s new Head of Recruitment.
Sources indicate that West Ham’s boardroom has been unhappy with some of Steidten’s transfer decisions, particularly the signings of Niclas Fullkrug and Luis Guilherme, both brought in by the German.
As Steidten steps back from his recruitment role, West Ham are now focusing on securing a loan deal for RB Leipzig striker Andre Silva, while also considering alternative targets.
One such alternative is Ajax striker Brian Brobbey.

According to Florian Plettenburg of Sky Germany, West Ham are pushing to sign Silva on a six-month loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
However, with other Bundesliga clubs also showing interest in Silva and decisive negotiations set for Friday, West Ham have identified Brobbey as a backup option.
Plettenburg shared on X (formerly Twitter): “BREAKING: West Ham now pushing to sign RB Leipzig striker Andre Silva on a six-month loan! New talks today.
Decisive negotiations scheduled for Friday.
Some Bundesliga clubs are also keen on Silva. If a move for Silva fails, Brian Brobbey (Ajax) is an option West Ham are considering. Decision soon.”
TBR Football had earlier revealed West Ham’s interest in Silva nearly two weeks ago. With uncertainty surrounding the deal, attention has turned to what Brobbey could offer should the Irons fail to reach an agreement with RB Leipzig.
Brian Brobbey is known for his exceptional physical attributes, making him a standout option. Despite being 5ft 11in, Brobbey’s leap is said to surpass that of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Former Ajax coach Johnny Heitinga highlighted this remarkable ability, stating: “At 16 years old, he weighed 91 kilos, was 1.80 meters tall, and was the fastest in the Academy.
He covered 30 meters in 3.7 seconds and could jump higher than Cristiano Ronaldo with one leg.”

Brobbey, who joined Ajax for £13.8m in July 2022, has made good use of his physical prowess, scoring 52 goals in 147 appearances for the Dutch side.
Even Virgil van Dijk has praised him, calling the young forward a “great” talent.
