Revealed: ‘Strong possibility’ of former David Moyes ally rejoining Everton behind the scenes

Former Goodison Park scout Bryan King, speaking exclusively to Goodison News, has suggested there’s a strong chance of Doherty reuniting with David Moyes.

“I mentioned previously there was a possibility that Doherty could be returning to Goodison,” King said. “Whether it will happen, we will have to wait and see.

Mick [Doherty] and David [Moyes] have worked together previously. Mick left only after David departed Goodison.

“Mick was also at West Ham with David, so I think there’s a strong possibility of him rejoining Everton. It would suit him too—he is a very good scout.”
