Report: £15m Leicester target shines with goal in standout performance and clarifies stance on potential transfer
Leicester City face a one-week deadline to finalize transfer deals before the window closes on 3 February.
Leicester City’s January transfer activity has been frustratingly slow, with only one signing completed so far.
Outgoing transfers, however, have been more frequent, as manager Ruud van Nistelrooy confirmed that Hamza Choudhury is set to join Sheffield United on loan.
Van Nistelrooy has identified four key positions to strengthen during the winter transfer window, including the acquisition of a left-sided center-back.
Defensive reinforcements are seen as crucial, given Leicester’s struggles at the back this season, which have jeopardized their Premier League survival hopes.
One potential target has recently showcased why he’s on Leicester’s radar with a stellar performance over the weekend.
Strahinja Pavlovic Shines in AC Milan Victory

Center-back remains a priority for Leicester, and Strahinja Pavlovic has emerged as a possible option.
The 24-year-old Serbian international joined AC Milan from Red Bull Salzburg last summer but has struggled for consistent game time.
Speculation has grown over his future, with some reports suggesting he could be allowed to leave the San Siro.
However, under new Milan manager Sergio Conceição, Pavlovic has returned to the first-team fold.
He delivered an exceptional display in Milan’s 3-2 victory over Parma, highlighted by his decisive assist for the match-winning goal in the 95th minute.
The club’s official website praised his “extraordinary performance,” which may strengthen Milan’s negotiating position if they decide to part ways with the player.
Pavlovic’s Future Remains Uncertain
Despite Pavlovic’s potential fit at Leicester, a move to the King Power Stadium seems unlikely.
The defender, reportedly earning £50,000 per week, may be hesitant to leave a top Serie A side to join a relegation battle in the Premier League.
Leicester would also need Pavlovic to express interest in the move, but the player appears determined to secure his place at Milan.
Speaking after the Parma match, he addressed recent transfer rumors, stating: “I haven’t played for 10 games, and there’s been a lot of speculation in the media. But I’m here, and I want to stay here.”
While Pavlovic’s quality is undeniable, his ambition to remain at AC Milan poses a significant obstacle for Leicester’s pursuit.
