West Ham Player Reached Verbal Exit Agreement but Ran Out of Time – Report

Luis Guilherme Reached Verbal Agreement with Porto for West Ham Exit in Winter Window, Reports Maisfutebol.

Portuguese club Porto missed out on signing 18-year-old Luis Guilherme from West Ham United, as revealed on their X account (4 February).

Despite the Brazilian forward agreeing to the move, there wasn’t enough time to finalize the deal before the Primeira Liga’s deadline.

Guilherme joined West Ham from Palmeiras last summer but has struggled to make an impact at the London Stadium.

Given his limited playing time under Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter, it wouldn’t have been a surprise to see him leave on Deadline Day.

So far this season, the young forward has made just seven appearances for the Hammers, all from the bench.

With attacking options like Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, and Lucas Paquetá ahead of him, breaking into the team has been difficult.

Even with injuries to Niclas Füllkrug and Michail Antonio, Guilherme has found opportunities hard to come by.

West Ham’s recent loan signing of Evan Ferguson from Brighton further complicates his chances of game time.

Potter did give the teenager some minutes as a late substitute in the 2-1 loss to Chelsea on 3 February, but Guilherme is likely to push for a move elsewhere while transfer windows remain open in certain leagues.

His future remains uncertain, making him a player to watch in the coming weeks.
