Despite links to several of Europe’s top managers, former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara has suggested that 77-year-old Harry Redknapp, one of the club’s most successful managers, could be the man to restore a positive atmosphere at the club.

During a talkSPORT discussion, a fan called in to propose the idea of bringing Redknapp back, a suggestion that O’Hara found appealing.

“I wouldn’t give it to Mason; we’ve been here before. I would give it to Harry,” the caller stated.

“Harry who?” O’Hara asked.

“Harry Redknapp,” the fan responded.

“It might bring the feel-good factor, mate. You know what, I’m all for it—bring back Harry, bring in H, get him in,” O’Hara said enthusiastically.

Redknapp’s Tottenham Legacy

While some fans are calling for Postecoglou’s departure, the club remains firm in its stance that he is still the right man for the job and that injuries are the primary reason for Tottenham’s poor results.

The suggestion of Redknapp’s return may be nostalgic, but it’s worth noting that he has been out of top-flight management for over eight years and is officially retired from coaching.

However, his time at Tottenham was undeniably successful. During his four-year tenure, Redknapp guided Spurs to two fourth-place finishes and two fifth-place finishes, consistently securing European football—something that Postecoglou has struggled to achieve this season.
