Jeremy Monga Agrees Deal with Manchester City
Leicester City News understands that teenage sensation Jeremy Monga has reached an agreement with Manchester City.
Man City have been closely monitoring Monga for months as he continues to impress with Leicester’s under-21s and on the international stage with England.
Set to turn 16 this summer, Monga recently captained England’s youth side against France, Colombia, and Denmark, scoring in each match.
Although he is keen on joining Man City, Leicester and the Premier League champions have yet to finalize a deal. A tribunal could be necessary for City to secure his signature.
Manchester United and Chelsea Also Interested
Transfer expert Graeme Bailey told TBR that Manchester United and Chelsea are among the clubs monitoring Monga.
“A number of clubs were interested—Man United, Chelsea, and Newcastle,” Bailey stated. “German giants RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund were also keen.”
For now, Man City lead the race, but negotiations remain ongoing.
