Paul Merson backs Everton’s David Moyes to triumph over former club West Ham this weekend.
Everton return to action on Saturday afternoon with a clash against West Ham United at Goodison Park.

Everton enter their upcoming clash in fine form, having gone eight games unbeaten, and they’re set to welcome back key players from injury this month.
Armando Broja has returned to training and could make the matchday squad for the first time since January.
Additionally, Iliman Ndiaye is expected to return within the next couple of weeks. Manager David Moyes is eager to finish the season strongly and maintain momentum.
This fixture marks Moyes’ first meeting with West Ham since his departure last summer. With that in mind, Paul Merson has shared his prediction for the match.
Paul Merson Predicts Everton Victory Over West Ham

In his Sportskeeda column, Merson backed Moyes to guide Everton to a win over his former club.
“Everton have been fantastic under David Moyes,” Merson wrote.
“He’s finally got them playing proper football! Even in their draw against Manchester United, they were the better side for large parts of the game.
It’s not as if they’re scraping wins—they’re putting in solid performances.
“I do think West Ham perform better away from home, as they’re not under pressure from their own fans.
However, I don’t see them having much success at Goodison Park on Saturday. I’m backing Everton to take all three points and keep a clean sheet.”
Merson predicted a 2-0 victory for Everton.
Everton’s Recent Record Against West Ham
Everton earned a point in the reverse fixture at the London Stadium, though neither Moyes nor Graham Potter was in charge at the time.
The last five meetings between the two sides have been closely contested, with both teams winning twice, drawing once, and losing twice.
While the head-to-head record suggests an unpredictable outcome, Everton appear to be in stronger form.
Since Moyes returned to Goodison Park in January, only Aston Villa have managed to defeat them in the league.
