Further confirmation of his intentions came in an interview with Onze Mondial, where David revealed he plans to leave Lille as a free agent.

“Yes, I’ll leave on a free transfer at the end of the season,” he admitted. “My goal is to keep improving and play for the top clubs in the world, if I can.”

David added that he remains focused on finishing the season strongly. “You’ll all know when the time is right — at the end of the season. Until then, I’m not going to comment.
