West Ham United are reportedly making moves to sign a highly-rated striker who is expected to depart his current club in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Graham Potter’s side had hoped to build momentum following a 2-0 victory over Manchester United.
However, that optimism was short-lived as they fell 2-1 to Nottingham Forest at the London Stadium on Sunday.
Jarrod Bowen continued his strong individual form by scoring again, registering his 12th Premier League goal of the season while operating as a striker.
Bowen’s performances suggest he could continue to lead the line going into the 2025–26 campaign. However, with Potter’s lack of depth up front, relying solely on Bowen may not be sustainable.
The Hammers are facing uncertainty with their forward options, as Michail Antonio is now 35 and Niclas Fullkrug has struggled to make an impact in his debut Premier League season.
To address these concerns, West Ham are now targeting a striker with top-level pedigree.

According to a report from Italy, relayed by Sport Witness, West Ham are pursuing AS Roma forward Tammy Abraham, who is poised to leave the Serie A side permanently this summer following his loan at AC Milan.
Securing a deal won’t be straightforward, however. Abraham reportedly has ambitions of joining a top-tier club, casting doubt over whether he would consider a move to the London Stadium.
A Fresh Start for Abraham?
Despite his aspirations, the 27-year-old may need to adjust his expectations. He has struggled for form in Italy this season, registering just three goals and five assists.
A return to England could offer the former Chelsea striker a much-needed reset.
West Ham could present the ideal environment for Abraham to reignite his career. The club is in clear need of attacking reinforcements, and under Potter, he could find a system that suits his strengths.
Abraham, once described as “outstanding,” boasts considerable experience at the highest level.
He’s played in 22 Champions League matches and was part of Chelsea’s squad that lifted the trophy. Since his £34m move to Roma in 2021, his form has fluctuated, but his potential remains clear.
