“West Ham’s Jaw-Dropping Plot to Snag ‘Mind-Blowing’ Superstar for Potter as Shocking Summer Exit Looms!”

West Ham United are closely monitoring Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The Hammers have already begun reshaping their squad, allowing several senior players to leave upon the expiry of their contracts.

With that in motion, the club is now focused on securing quality reinforcements.

West Ham Interested in Hermansen

Hermansen was one of Leicester’s standout performers during the 2024/25 season, despite the club’s relegation.

His displays have not gone unnoticed, with strong interest reported from across the Premier League and European clubs.

West Ham are among the most keen suitors, especially after the departure of veteran goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski this week.

The 24-year-old Dane, widely praised and labelled ‘insane’ for his performances, is considered one of Leicester’s most valuable assets.

Journalist Tom Collomosse has suggested there’s “every chance” Hermansen will be playing in one of Europe’s top five leagues next season.

Although Alphonse Areola is currently West Ham’s first-choice goalkeeper, his form has been inconsistent over the past year.

While his contract runs until 2027, with an option for an extra year, questions remain over his long-term suitability.

Hermansen, due to his age and potential, could be viewed as a long-term solution for the No.1 spot. If West Ham can negotiate a favourable deal, they may have a strong chance of landing the Denmark international.

Chelsea have also expressed admiration for Hermansen, but with several goalkeepers already on their books, they are reportedly targeting a more experienced option should they strengthen the position this summer.
