“SHOCKING Everton Transfer BOMBSHELL: £26M+ Mega-Deal Set to STUN the Premier League!”
Everton Poised to Beat West Ham in Race for Juventus Midfielder Douglas Luiz This Summer

Abdoulaye Doucouré’s departure has left Everton without a key source of energy and drive in midfield.
Although Idrissa Gana Gueye has penned a contract extension, the 35-year-old is past his prime, making midfield reinforcements a top priority for the Toffees.
One target reportedly high on their radar is Douglas Luiz. According to Italian journalist Gianni Balzarini, Everton are serious contenders for the Juventus midfielder’s signature.
However, there’s currently a gap between the two clubs’ valuations.
Juventus are holding out for a fee in the region of £35 million (€40m)—broken down as €10m in bonuses and €30m upfront—while Everton’s current offer stands at around €30 million (£26m).
Balzarini said: “There’s been talk about exits, and Douglas Luiz is someone Everton are really pursuing. Juventus want €40m—€10m in guarantees and €30m. Everton have reached around €30m.
I think an agreement will be struck eventually. People have differing opinions on him—some rate him highly, others not so much—but it’s clear Luiz is on his way out.”

If Everton do land Luiz, the club could benefit massively from pairing him with David Moyes. The incoming manager is known for instilling structure, intensity, and discipline—qualities that match Luiz’s box-to-box style perfectly.
Moyes, who has enjoyed success with a 4-2-3-1 formation at both Everton and West Ham, could deploy Luiz alongside James Garner to create a well-balanced midfield pivot.
Luiz thrives in systems that demand high pressing and positional discipline, areas where Moyes excels as a coach.
The Scotsman’s proven ability to nurture midfielders and maximise their output would likely enhance Luiz’s decision-making, consistency, and attacking contributions.
With survival still Everton’s first goal, a partnership between Moyes and Luiz could inject the midfield with much-needed dynamism and reliability—potentially transforming the team’s prospects in the upcoming season.
