Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a summer move for Manchester City attacker Jack Grealish, according to journalist Ben Knapton.
The Europa League winners have lodged an immediate enquiry for the former Aston Villa star following James Maddison’s injury setback.
Maddison suffered what appeared to be a serious injury during Saturday’s 1-1 friendly draw with Newcastle United, prompting Spurs to search for a creative replacement.
Although the extent of Maddison’s injury is yet to be confirmed, Tottenham are already missing Dejan Kulusevski through a knee problem and have identified Grealish as a potential solution.

Knapton reports that Spurs have made swift contact regarding Grealish and are believed to have overtaken Napoli in the race for his signature.
The Serie A champions were previously favourites to secure the 29-year-old before the transfer deadline but are no longer seen as frontrunners.
Grealish is expected to depart Manchester City this summer, either permanently or on loan, after a difficult campaign under Pep Guardiola.
Last season, the £300,000-a-week winger managed just three goals and five assists in 32 appearances, starting only seven Premier League matches.
Tottenham have already spent around £120 million on new arrivals during the current window, with Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich their latest addition.
The Portuguese midfielder has joined on a season-long loan, with an option to buy for £27 million next summer.
