Jordan Ayew embodied the “Foxes Never Quit” spirit that new Leicester City boss Marti Cifuentes was eager to see on his managerial debut.

Ayew’s arrival has drawn attention partly because he now wears Jamie Vardy’s iconic shirt number. Although he did not find the net on this occasion, his performance impressed.
In addition to holding up the ball and linking play—particularly after the break—Ayew was a constant threat in front of goal.
He registered six shots, five of which forced saves from Wednesday goalkeeper Pierce Charles.
