According to exclusive information from Graeme Bailey, one potential target is Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee.

Speaking exclusively to Everton News, Bailey revealed that Moyes is keen on the Dutch forward, although there could be challenges in completing a deal.

“Joshua Zirkzee needs to move, that has been made clear to him by Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman,” Bailey explained. “If he wants to go to the World Cup, he needs regular football.

There’s interest across Europe and some from England – Everton are among those clubs. It’s a potential option for him, but can Everton guarantee him the game time he wants? That’s uncertain.”

Zirkzee’s situation at Old Trafford has become increasingly concerning. The 23-year-old has yet to start a game for Manchester United this season, featuring for just 74 minutes as a substitute.

His lack of minutes has caught the attention of Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman, who recently suggested that both Zirkzee and Bryan Brobbey risk being left out of the national team unless their playing time improves.

“I don’t think they’re playing at all,” Koeman told Voetbal Primeur. “If they start playing more, they’ll be options again, but we’re also considering other players.”

With the World Cup in the United States approaching next summer, Zirkzee faces a crucial decision.

To revive his international chances, a January move away from Manchester United – potentially to Everton – may be his best option.
