SHOCKING! Leicester City FACED WITH ULTIMATUM: DUMP £75K/WEEK STAR NOW or REGRET FOREVER – You WON’T BELIEVE Why January is DO-OR-DIE! (View)

Leicester City expected to be active in the January transfer window with Zambia striker Patson Daka likely to be put up for sale.

Leicester City’s financial struggles have been well-documented since their relegation from the Premier League, with even talk of a possible points deduction from the EFL.

These issues led to a slow start in the summer transfer window, which only picked up after the sales of key players such as Conor Coady, Wilfred Ndidi, Mads Hermansen, Kasey McAteer, and James Justin.

Bilal El Khannouss and Woyo Coulibaly also departed on loan, while the club brought in Asmir Begovic on a free transfer and secured loan deals for Julian Carranza, Jordan James, and Aaron Ramsey on deadline day.

Manager Marti Cifuentes faces a difficult task, as Leicester’s squad, while strong in some areas, lacks quality and depth in attack.

More transfer activity will be required in January if they are to mount a serious promotion challenge, and the sale of Patson Daka could be key to funding that push.

Signed from Red Bull Salzburg in 2021 after an outstanding spell in Austria, Daka arrived with high expectations.

However, injuries, inconsistent form, and competition from Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho have stunted his progress.

Although he scored seven goals in 20 games during last season’s Championship-winning campaign, he has failed to find the net in nine appearances this term.

At 27 and earning £75,000 per week, Daka’s contract expires next summer, making him one of Leicester’s most saleable assets.

Offloading him would not only relieve financial pressure but also help reshape a squad that has lacked identity and direction.

With Harry Winks and Boubakary Soumare also expected to leave for free, Leicester must rebuild strategically.

Following Jamie Vardy’s departure to Cremonese, replacing Daka with a more consistent goal scorer could be crucial for sustaining their promotion ambitions.
