According to journalist Alan Nixon (via Caught Offside), West Ham are in the process of preparing documents to secure the signature of Barcelona attacker Dro Fernandez.
The 17-year-old has become a key transfer target as part of the club’s planned January recruitment drive, with Nuno keen to inject youth and creativity into his faltering forward line.
The Hammers are hoping to act quickly and agree a deal before Fernandez’s market value rises further, as the teenager’s stock is already growing rapidly in Spain.
However, convincing Barcelona to sell will be no easy task.
The Catalan giants are well aware of the youngster’s immense potential, which means any deal is likely to command a significant fee.
