SHOCK TRANSFER BOMBSHELL: Newcastle Star’s SECRET EXIT TALKS EXPLODE – Could DITCH Toon in JANUARY for JAW-DROPPING Move That’ll SHATTER the Premier League!

German sides eye move for Newcastle defender Fabian Schär, says Sky Deutschland.

The 33-year-old centre-back has been an influential member of the Newcastle United squad ever since his arrival from Deportivo La Coruña in 2018.

For several seasons he was a consistent starter for the Magpies and an important figure in their defensive setup, remaining a regular right up until the end of the previous campaign.

Schär began the current season in Eddie Howe’s starting XI, but he eventually lost his place and has since found opportunities harder to come by.

So far, he has featured in only six Premier League matches, with four of those being starts, highlighting his reduced involvement under Howe this term.

With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, speculation around his future has intensified.

Reports from Sky suggest that a departure “seems likely” next summer, while a move in the January transfer window has not been ruled out if suitable offers are presented.

There is also talk of a potential return to Germany. Schär previously spent two years at TSG Hoffenheim between 2015 and 2017, and Bundesliga clubs are said to be interested in bringing him back, with discussions reportedly already underway.

Sky Deutschland, however, has not disclosed which clubs are negotiating, nor whether Newcastle would sanction a mid-season exit.

Given his limited game time so far, Schär may well be edging closer to leaving St James’ Park.
