The midfielder’s connection to Milan runs deep. After rising to prominence at Brescia, he initially joined the club on loan in 2020 before signing permanently in 2021.
He went on to anchor their midfield for two seasons before Newcastle secured his signature with a major offer in 2023.
Pellegatti believes Tonali is destined to return eventually, predicting he may end his career at Milan when finances and timing align.
For now, Tonali’s focus shifts back to Newcastle after missing the squad for Italy’s match against Norway.
