The 23-year-old is experiencing a standout year, having scored 18 goals across club and international level — 13 for AZ Alkmaar and five for the Republic of Ireland.
His reputation grew even further after he produced a stunning hat-trick in Hungary to send Ireland into the World Cup play-offs, coming just days after he netted a brace against Portugal.
Speaking to Football Insider, Mick Brown confirmed that West Ham are now firmly interested.
“Multiple Premier League clubs are watching Troy Parrott closely. It’s not just about the hat-trick in that huge win for Ireland — he has been performing at a really high level for his club throughout this season,” Brown explained.
He added that Parrott’s all-round profile makes him appealing to top-flight teams: “We’ve discussed several Premier League clubs who are desperate for a striker.
Parrott is playing regularly in Europe, looks in excellent form, and is scoring for both club and country.”
Once viewed as a long-term Tottenham prospect, Parrott has revitalised his career away from England, and his recent output is becoming increasingly difficult for scouts to overlook.
