The latest announcement confirmed that Everton will host Leeds on Monday, 26 January—another adjustment that carries historical significance.

According to EFC Statto, this Leeds encounter will represent Everton’s fifth Monday night kick-off of the season, the most they have ever had in a single league campaign.

Monday’s clash will be Everton’s fourth Monday night outing of the campaign, and the previous three have all ended in frustration.

Their season began with a Monday night trip to Elland Road, where a contentious late penalty from Lukas Nmecha handed Leeds all three points.

Their second Monday fixture came at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, where Everton took the lead against West Ham, only for Jarrod Bowen to level the score.
