West Ham United are continuing their search for a new centre-forward ahead of the January transfer window, with Nuno Espírito Santo making the position his top priority.
The need for reinforcements has been accelerated by Niclas Füllkrug’s impending departure, following a hugely disappointing spell in east London.

AC Milan striker Santiago Gimenez was another option, with West Ham willing to meet his £26 million valuation, but planned surgery has effectively ruled out a January move.
Lazio’s Taty Castellanos, meanwhile, is open to an immediate exit in search of regular football before the World Cup and has reportedly greenlit a potential switch.
Attention has now turned to Fiorentina striker Moise Kean, formerly of PSG and Juventus. Kean has revived his career in Italy, scoring 28 goals in 62 games since joining Fiorentina in 2024.
However, the club are enduring a miserable season, sitting bottom of Serie A and eight points from safety, with reports of dressing-room unrest adding to the instability.
Italian outlet Quotidiano Sportivo claims West Ham are exploring a deal for the 25-year-old amid the turmoil.
Kean’s form has earned praise from former Italy striker Christian Vieri, who described him as a “phenomenal” centre-forward.
Despite the speculation, Fiorentina are determined to keep hold of their key players.
Manager Paolo Vanoli and sporting director Daniele Pradè have both insisted no one will leave in January, with Kean viewed as vital to their survival hopes.
As a result, West Ham face a major challenge if they hope to tempt the striker back to the Premier League, where his previous spells were far from successful.
