Now, Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to secure the Bournemouth star.
Given that Semenyo’s release clause applies equally to all interested parties, the eventual outcome is likely to hinge on two decisive factors: the financial package on offer and the long-term sporting project presented to the player.
On paper, Tottenham could offer a compelling role, with Semenyo expected to walk straight into the starting XI as the club’s first-choice left winger.
By contrast, United, City and Liverpool have all invested heavily in wide attacking options in recent windows, potentially limiting Semenyo’s guaranteed minutes.
