Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs showing the strongest interest in signing a “spectacular” Champions League forward, although prising him away from his current side would likely require an enormous offer.

However, the north London club now appear set to miss out on the Ghana international, who is increasingly expected to complete a move to a Premier League rival.

With that deal seemingly moving out of reach, Tottenham are preparing to redirect their focus towards alternative targets.
One such name already discussed is City winger Savinho, but Spurs are also casting the net wider across Europe.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, Tottenham are now among the most interested clubs pursuing Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz.
Chelsea are also credited with strong interest, while Arsenal have been monitoring the situation as well.
Yildiz is viewed internally as a dream attacking option for Spurs, having rapidly established himself as one of football’s most exciting young breakout talents.
Juventus, however, are reluctant to cash in and would demand a substantial fee, with figures of around £88 million recently being mentioned as the level required to even consider a sale.
The report adds that Juventus’ new sporting director, Marco Ottolini, is expected to open discussions over a fresh contract for the 20-year-old.
There is also an understanding that Yildiz himself would prefer to continue his development in Turin, further complicating any potential deal.
Missing out on Semenyo would be a blow for Tottenham, particularly given the attacker’s proven Premier League output.
The Bournemouth forward has scored eight goals in 16 league appearances this season, while also registering three assists, underlining his immediate impact in English football.
Nevertheless, Yildiz has shown he could be a strong alternative. The Germany-born Turkey international has delivered standout displays for Juventus this season, contributing five goals and four assists in Serie A.
Respected scout Jacek Kulig has praised Yildiz for his ability to produce “spectacular solo runs”, a trait that has caught the eye since his breakthrough in Turin.
An £88 million fee would make him Tottenham’s record signing, but there is belief he could become an exciting addition to Thomas Frank’s squad for Spurs.
