West Ham shift focus to Real Betis defender Natan amid growing defensive concerns

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, West Ham have submitted a proposal to sign Natan on loan until the end of the season, including an obligation to purchase him permanently once the campaign concludes.
The report claims the Hammers offered £3million for the loan, followed by a further £3million to complete the transfer.
Had the deal gone through, it would have represented a record sale for Real Betis, eclipsing the departure of Giovani Lo Celso to Tottenham Hotspur.
Despite this, Betis are said to have rejected the proposal, leaving West Ham weighing up whether to return with an improved bid.

Although negotiations have stalled, Disasi still appears to be the most realistic option. The club favour a loan move, while Chelsea are pushing for a permanent transfer, with discussions ongoing.
In addition, John Egan and former Leeds United defender Charlie Cresswell have been mentioned as potential targets. As it stands, neither move looks close to completion ahead of Monday’s 7pm deadline.
