BOMBSHELL TRANSFER ALERT: Leeds United Ready to Blow EIGHT-FIGURE Fortune on Red-Hot Argentine Midfield Wizard! “Leeds are closing in on a game-changing superstar from Argentina… fans are NOT ready for this!”
Milton Delgado is reportedly on Leeds United’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
Leeds United have plenty of work to do in the transfer market this summer if they are to build on the progress made during the current campaign.
Manager Daniel Farke is expected to strengthen several areas of his squad, with the club keen to improve both quality and depth ahead of next season.
While Leeds are not expected to completely overhaul the team, key additions remain a priority as they look to continue moving forward.
One player who has emerged as a potential target is Milton Delgado, with the midfielder reportedly attracting attention from Elland Road.
Whether he would arrive as a defensive midfielder or in a more advanced role is still unclear, but Leeds are believed to view him as someone capable of adding balance and energy to the side.
According to reports from Argentina, Leeds are among several clubs monitoring the highly-rated youngster.
Delgado may not yet be widely recognised in English football, but he is beginning to establish a strong reputation in his homeland after breaking into the Boca Juniors first team.
The 20-year-old has featured 16 times in the league this year and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
Interest from the Premier League is reportedly growing, although Leeds could face competition for his signature if they decide to pursue a move.
Boca Juniors are said to value Delgado at around £13million, with the midfielder still having three years remaining on his current contract.
Delgado is primarily a central midfielder, although he is versatile enough to operate in deeper or more advanced positions depending on the tactical system being used.
What stands out most about his game is his defensive contribution. He has won 31 tackles in 16 league appearances, placing him among the league’s strongest midfielders defensively.
His passing ability has also impressed, with an 87.7 per cent completion rate and an average of 51 successful passes per match.
On paper, Delgado appears to be a smart long-term option for Leeds, offering significant potential with relatively little risk attached.
