BOMBSHELL TRANSFER ALERT! Premier League Superstar Has ALREADY SECRETLY AGREED to Join Newcastle United – Third MASSIVE Summer Signing Incoming as Toon Go ALL OUT!** *(Fans are losing their minds… this changes EVERYTHING!)
Manchester City’s James Trafford could complete a long-awaited switch to Newcastle United this summer.

Newcastle United’s long-standing interest in goalkeeper James Trafford has resurfaced ahead of the summer transfer window, with uncertainty continuing to surround the future of current number one Nick Pope.
The Magpies have pursued Trafford on multiple occasions in recent years.
They attempted to secure his signature from Burnley in both 2024 and 2025, even reaching personal terms with the goalkeeper on each occasion.
However, their efforts were ultimately thwarted when Manchester City activated a buy-back clause, bringing the highly-rated shot-stopper back to the Etihad Stadium in a deal worth around £26 million before the 2025/26 season.
Trafford returned to City expecting to establish himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.
However, those plans were disrupted when the Premier League champions moved to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Italian’s arrival pushed Trafford down the pecking order, restricting him to just 17 appearances across all competitions last season and prompting speculation about a possible exit.
Speaking earlier this year, Trafford admitted the situation had not unfolded as he had anticipated.
Despite his disappointment, he stressed his determination to make the most of every opportunity and continue developing whenever selected.
According to reports from The Athletic, Newcastle have already made enquiries regarding Trafford’s availability this summer, although discussions have not yet progressed to a formal stage.
Any potential deal may take time to develop, however, as Trafford is believed to be focused on England’s World Cup campaign and is reluctant to make a decision on his future until after the tournament.
If the Three Lions enjoy a lengthy run, that decision could be delayed until the middle of July.
Having previously agreed to join Newcastle twice, Trafford is already familiar with the club’s project and may be encouraged by their continued interest for a third consecutive summer.
Newcastle have already strengthened their goalkeeping department by signing 20-year-old Ewen Jaouen from Stade de Reims, who is expected to provide backup.
The club are also exploring the possibility of adding another goalkeeper on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, Pope’s future remains in doubt. Newcastle are reportedly willing to listen to offers and have held discussions with Ipswich Town regarding a possible move.
Should Trafford eventually arrive at St James’ Park, it would likely bring Pope’s four-year spell on Tyneside to an end.
The club are also working on a deal for Osasuna winger Victor Munoz.
