SHOCKING: Leeds United SMASH the transfer market with INSANE bid for the GREATEST left winger on EARTH – he’s Gnonto on nuclear steroids and could end Premier League football as we know it!

Wilfried Gnonto appears determined to force his way back into Daniel Farke’s plans at Leeds United after struggling for regular playing time last season.
Although pre-season performances should not be overanalysed, the Italian winger has provided plenty of encouragement, particularly during Leeds’ recent meeting with Manchester United.
The 22-year-old had already impressed by setting up Lukas Nmecha in the 2-0 victory over RB Leipzig, delivering a precise cross for the striker to finish.

Against Manchester United, Gnonto failed to register a goal or assist but produced an energetic second-half display that highlighted his pace, directness and attacking threat.
After Harry Amass had enjoyed a solid first half, Gnonto became increasingly difficult to contain following the interval.

He repeatedly attacked the full-back and later Luke Shaw, using his acceleration to create problems.
During his 45-minute appearance, Gnonto recorded a key pass, attempted three crosses and made a dribble, while also contributing seven defensive actions.
Although he lost possession 10 times from 36 touches, his willingness to take on defenders made him one of Leeds’ most dangerous outlets.

His confidence was also evident during the penalty shootout, where he converted his spot-kick emphatically.
Gnonto’s situation is particularly interesting given his inconsistent role at Elland Road. Despite contributing 15 goals and assists during the 2024/25 campaign, he started only 26 Championship matches.

His opportunities became even more limited last season, when he made just four Premier League starts.
His latest performances could therefore give Farke a reason to reconsider his role ahead of the new campaign.
However, Leeds are still searching for further attacking reinforcements after signing Harry Wilson on a free transfer.

Reports have linked the club with a major move for AC Milan winger Rafael Leao, with a bid of approximately €55m (£46m) reportedly being considered. Aston Villa are also said to be interested.
Leao’s wage demands could complicate negotiations, but his arrival would represent a major statement from Leeds.
The Portuguese winger has established himself as one of Europe’s most dangerous wide attackers, combining exceptional pace, strength and dribbling ability with proven end product.

His record at Milan demonstrates the difference in experience between the two players.
Across 291 appearances, Leao has registered 145 goals and assists, including 114 goal involvements in 227 Serie A matches. He has also produced consistently in European competition.
There are similarities between Leao and Gnonto, particularly their explosive running and ability to beat defenders.
However, Leao has already demonstrated his quality at the highest level and possesses significantly greater experience.
Gnonto’s pre-season form could make him feel like a new signing for Leeds, but if the club succeeds in bringing Leao to Elland Road, the Portuguese star would undoubtedly provide another level of attacking quality.
