REVIEW : Interest from Everton and Leicester in Midfielder Stalls Due to High Asking Price

Everton, Leicester, and Udinese have all expressed interest in acquiring the player, but Reims’ €10 million asking price has deterred them from making any formal bids. This valuation is considered too high by these clubs, leading to their hesitation. Similarly, Strasbourg also withdrew their interest due to the high price.

It remains unclear if there is any room for negotiation on Reims’ part. In the meantime, Richardson is focusing on a busy summer, including competing at the Olympics with the Moroccan national team.

Last Wednesday, Richardson returned to training with Reims, now under the guidance of new manager Luka Elsner. Elsner is familiar with Richardson, having previously managed him at Le Havre. Whether this reunion will influence Richardson’s decision to stay at Reims is uncertain.

As of now, neither Everton, Leicester, nor any other club has shown a willingness to meet the €10 million asking price set by Reims.
