REPORT: Leeds United Make Transfer Bid for Striker, Decision Reached
According to Graeme Bailey, Daniel Jebbison has declined a transfer offer from Leeds United and opted to sign with Bournemouth instead.
Bailey posted on X, stating that out-of-contract Sheffield United forward Daniel Jebbison had received offers from Leeds United, Ipswich Town, and Everton, but opted to join Bournemouth on a free transfer this summer.
Despite making just one Premier League appearance as the Blades were relegated last season, Jebbison’s contract status attracted significant attention from these four clubs.
Given Jebbison’s breakthrough at Bramall Lane in the Championship, Elland Road seemed a likely destination. However, the Canada-born striker chose to bypass the Peacocks, delivering a new transfer setback for Leeds [Graeme Bailey, 1 June].

Patrick Bamford led the line during the Whites’ best winning run of the campaign, but his persistent injury issues continued, while Mateo Joseph became Daniel Farke’s super-sub of choice.
Therefore, adding Jebbison for a mere compensation fee this summer, given he is just 20, would have been a welcome addition to the German’s attacking ranks at Elland Road. However, the allure of Premier League football with Bournemouth has proven to be the key for the in-demand striker.
