Leicester City have shown interest in securing Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp this summer, according to Football Insider. Skipp finds himself behind players like Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Pape Sarr in the pecking order, potentially prompting his desire for more consistent playing time away from Tottenham.
Having emerged from the Spurs academy, Skipp gained valuable experience during a loan spell at Norwich City in the 2020/21 season, making 45 appearances and aiding in their Championship promotion. He has since become a fixture at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, accumulating 106 appearances for his boyhood club. However, with Postecoglou aiming to elevate squad performance, Skipp might seek a move elsewhere to continue his development.
Leicester City, who recently lost Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea, are looking to bolster their midfield options under new manager Steve Cooper.
