West Ham Schedule Medical After Securing £25m Forward

West Ham have agreed to a deal worth around £25 million for Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville.

The Hammers have been seeking a wide forward this summer, considering players such as Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson.

However, a move for Summerville is now at an advanced stage, with West Ham set to pay £25 million plus add-ons for the 22-year-old.

The Dutchman is expected to sign a long-term contract with West Ham and undergo a medical in the UK before potentially joining the team on their US tour.

West Ham are currently in Florida and have a game against Crystal Palace this weekend.

Summerville impressed in the Championship last season, scoring 21 goals and providing nine assists as Leeds reached the play-off final, which they lost to Southampton.

He has been linked with several clubs over the past year, including Aston Villa, Fulham, and Newcastle, but West Ham have secured his signing.

West Ham are aiming to conduct more transfer business this summer, targeting a new defender and striker.

They are in talks with Borussia Dortmund to sign Germany striker Niclas Fullkrug. The 31-year-old scored twice for his country at Euro 2024, and negotiations over a fee are ongoing.

The Hammers turned to Fullkrug after a bid for Jhon Duran was rejected by Aston Villa. While West Ham still have interest in the Colombian forward, a deal for Fullkrug is now being pursued as an alternative.

Fullkrug joined Dortmund for £12.6 million last August after four years at Werder Bremen, scoring 16 goals in 46 appearances across all competitions.
