“Fabrizio Romano Shares Major West Ham Transfer Update: ‘Set to Be Confirmed'”

West Ham made early moves in the transfer window, securing the signings of Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham, and Max Kilman.

They continued their spree by bringing in Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Füllkrug, along with a free transfer for Guido Rodriguez.

The Hammers are now closing in on their seventh summer signing. According to Fabrizio Romano, a “complete” player has just passed his medical exam with the club.

The player in question is Jean-Clair Todibo, who is nearing a move to West Ham.

On Thursday night, Romano revealed that West Ham were set to sign Todibo, who had been expected to join Juventus.

By early Friday morning, Romano confirmed the deal with his trademark “here we go” phrase, indicating that West Ham had successfully hijacked the transfer.

Now, Romano reports that the 24-year-old has completed his medical, with the signing expected to be announced soon.

West Ham deserves credit for their persistence in securing Todibo. Initially, it seemed unlikely that Todibo would join the Hammers, as reports suggested he preferred Juventus.

However, Juventus failed to reach an agreement with Nice, and West Ham’s Tim Steidten played a crucial role in finalizing the deal.

With Todibo joining the squad, West Ham can look forward to having a “complete package” of a defender.

This signing marks the seventh addition to their squad, leaving one more target: Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who remains linked with the club.

This transfer saga will be one to watch in the coming weeks, or perhaps even days.
