Leeds United in jeopardy as Norwich City gets ‘formal bid’ for Jonathan Rowe

Leeds recently lost their star winger, Crysencio Summerville, to West Ham United, raising concerns about how the Whites can replace such a key player.

They have been linked with Crystal Palace’s Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, though reports suggest that Rowe is a higher priority target.

However, Leeds face stiff competition for the 21-year-old. According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Marseille has made a formal offer for the England youth international.

Talks with the player have reportedly taken place, and further discussions are expected between the clubs.

Missing out on Rowe would be a significant setback for Leeds, who also face fierce competition in pursuing Rak-Sakyi.

Hull City and Queens Park Rangers have shown interest in the Eagles prospect, with reports indicating he is close to joining Sheffield United on loan.

Despite lacking a direct replacement for Summerville, Leeds boss Daniel Farke still has options on the flanks.

As the club prepares for their Championship opener against Portsmouth, Farke can rely on Daniel James and Wilfried Gnonto.

Georginio Rutter could also play a wide role, particularly if Farke decides to use Joel Piroe in a deeper forward position.
