Everton Target Spotted at Goodison Park
Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport reports that Everton have shown interest in Roma forward Tammy Abraham.
The Serie A giants played a pre-season friendly at Goodison Park on Saturday, ending in a 1-1 draw.
Abraham was on the bench for the visitors, with Artem Dovbyk preferred by manager Daniele De Rossi.
When asked about the transfer links after the match, Abraham said, “The rumours, obviously, are nice, it means you are doing well, but I am here with Roma and I am available to do my best.”
Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi also traveled with the squad to Liverpool, but the report adds that no talks have occurred between the parties so far.
Bournemouth also have an interest in the 26-year-old striker, whom Rio Ferdinand once praised for a “Drogba-esque” performance during his days at Chelsea.
HITC understands that Brentford, Newcastle, and West Ham have also shown interest in Abraham over the summer window.
