Matondo, who scored six goals and provided four assists in 31 appearances for Rangers last season, could be a valuable addition.
Rangers are undergoing a squad overhaul under new manager Philippe Clement, making Matondo available at a reduced price.
While it’s not entirely clear if Leeds are committed to signing him, adding Matondo could enhance the squad’s depth and offer much-needed support.
