“They want him” – Transfer expert confirms West Ham interest in brilliant Spanish midfielder

West Ham United has had an eventful transfer window.

A year ago, potentially due to delays in processing funds from the Declan Rice sale, West Ham didn’t secure their transfer targets until the week of the season’s opening match.

This summer, however, technical director Tim Steidten has already successfully negotiated deals for several players, including Max Kilman, Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug, Luis Guilherme, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Guido Rodriguez, Wes Foderingham, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Mohamadou Kante.

It’s no surprise that fans in East London are thrilled, especially with more transfers seemingly on the horizon.

Rumors had been circulating that West Ham was interested in Paris Saint-Germain’s talented midfielder, Carlos Soler.

This speculation has now been confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Romano noted, “I only know that West Ham are working to sell some players, but nothing more than this at the moment,” he stated in his exclusive Daily Briefing with CaughtOffside.

“Let’s see in the next days, as I don’t have anything imminent on outgoings yet.

For Carlos Soler, West Ham keep working and advancing as they want him, and talks took place on both the club and player side.”

At 27, Soler is a Spanish international and would be a valuable addition to a club clearly aiming to achieve significant success in the 2024/25 season.

With just a week left before the transfer window closes, Steidten faces a tight deadline to finalize any deals.

This urgency is compounded by the need for player sales to ensure West Ham remains compliant with Financial Fair Play regulations.

Nevertheless, Steidten has proven his adeptness in the transfer market, and as long as the window remains open, West Ham fans can trust that he will be doing everything possible to make key moves.
