Leeds United ‘eyeing’ potential signing of former Norwich City star from AFC Bournemouth.

Daniel Farke, the current Leeds manager, previously won two Championship titles at Norwich City, with Max Aarons playing a crucial role in both successes.

Aarons, a former England youth international, was instrumental in Farke’s Norwich team.

Last summer, Leeds tried to reunite Farke and Aarons by pursuing a transfer for the dynamic full-back from Norwich.

Although Aarons was reportedly set for a medical in West Yorkshire, he ultimately opted for a move to Bournemouth.

The Yorkshire Evening Post recently reported that Aarons is among the full-backs Leeds are considering in the final week of the summer transfer window.

Farke has expressed his desire for more depth at full-back, in addition to seeking offensive reinforcements.

Leeds have already signed winger Largie Ramazani from Almeria but are aiming for additional signings before the window closes.

These new additions could boost morale at Elland Road, especially after several key players have departed.

Leeds have seen the departure of academy product Archie Gray to Tottenham Hotspur, with forwards Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter moving to West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion, respectively.

Midfielder Glen Kamara has also left, joining French club Rennes.

Despite being only 24, Aarons has extensive Championship experience and a strong bond with Farke.

Reflecting on his move to Bournemouth last year, Aarons expressed gratitude for Farke’s impact on his career, saying: “I want to say the biggest thank you to Daniel Farke, the man who gave me my debut and believed in me.
