Tottenham could secure a game-changing move by signing a ‘world class’ attacker before the transfer deadline – opinion.

Tottenham Hotspur have had a successful summer transfer window so far.

The North London club has focused heavily on recruiting young talent this summer, bringing in players like Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, and Wilson Odobert to strengthen Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

Teenage forward Yang Min-hyuk is also set to join the team in January after completing a transfer from Gangwon FC earlier in the window.

However, they could still pull off a significant deal before the transfer deadline on Friday for just £13 million.

Tottenham Hotspur Should Sign Federico Chiesa

Tottenham Hotspur were previously in talks to sign Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa earlier in the summer transfer window.

Although those discussions have since stalled, Spurs should consider making another attempt to secure his signature, especially with the Italy international still on the market.

Juventus manager Thiago Motta has excluded Chiesa from the first team, and the player is reportedly available for just £13 million due to his contract situation, with only one year remaining.

This has prompted Juventus to consider selling him at a reduced price.

Having brought in several promising young players, Tottenham could benefit from Chiesa’s experience at the highest level.

Arsenal and Chelsea Interested in Chiesa

Chiesa is also drawing interest from Arsenal and Chelsea, so a deal for Tottenham would not be straightforward.

Earlier this week, Barcelona seemed close to signing him, but that move has since cooled.

Chiesa, described as ‘world class’ by Sports View, is reportedly eager to move to the Premier League, so Spurs are not expected to have much trouble persuading him to join.

The next few days will be crucial in determining his future.
