Sources: Everton Secure Record-Breaking Agreement with Leeds United Executives

Everton Announce Red Bull as New 'Official Energy Drink Partner,' Currently Sponsoring Leeds United

The energy drink giant Red Bull became Leeds United’s front-of-shirt sponsor at the start of the season, entering a deal that included a minority ownership stake in the West Yorkshire club.

Red Bull’s branding will now be visible on bottle carriers, coolers, and ice boxes at Everton’s Finch Farm training ground, as well as at home and away matches.

Although financial details remain undisclosed, the multi-year agreement covers Everton’s final season at Goodison Park and their upcoming move to the new 52,888-seat stadium.

Red Bull is expected to benefit from global brand exposure through the club’s physical presence and digital platforms.

According to Football Insider, the deal sets a financial record for the club.

Red Bull’s involvement in football dates back to 2005 when they purchased and rebranded Austrian club FC Salzburg as Red Bull Salzburg.

Meanwhile, American businessman John Textor is attempting to purchase Everton from current owner Farhad Moshiri.

Football Insider reported on September 5 that Textor’s bid could face delays due to Premier League rules, which prohibit ownership of two clubs in the same division.

Textor currently holds a 45% stake in Crystal Palace, and any potential sale of those shares would require the new buyer to pass the league’s owners’ and directors’ test.

On August 21, The Guardian reported that Textor flew to Liverpool for further discussions with Moshiri, with hopes of finalizing the deal by the end of that week.

Everton manager Sean Dyche is also under pressure, as the team sits at the bottom of the Premier League table, still searching for their first win of the season.

Football Insider also revealed on September 4 that David Moyes is gaining significant support within Everton’s boardroom for a possible return to the club.
