Jackson Tchatchoua of Hellas Verona has emerged as one of Serie A’s standout performers this season, drawing widespread attention for his impressive displays.
His pivotal role in Verona’s recent victory over Antonio Conte’s side sparked interest from Napoli, but the 22-year-old Cameroonian wing-back now has several potential suitors.
According to Alfredo Pedulla, both Everton and Rennes have shown interest in Tchatchoua in recent weeks.
Everton, in particular, were linked with the player towards the end of the transfer window, but a deal never materialized.
This has left the Toffees in a more difficult position as competition for the player increases.
While talks with Everton stalled, Juventus has now entered the race, posing another challenge for the Premier League side.
Napoli, once interested in Tchatchoua, have since shifted their focus to other targets.
Juventus could make an offer in January, though it remains unclear if Everton will follow suit.
The current asking price for the player is €15 million, which may rise if his form continues, though it could be more feasible for Everton than Juventus.
Verona hopes that Tchatchoua’s strong performances will further boost his market value.
