Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison could be set for a sensational return to Everton this summer, with the Toffees reportedly keen to bring him back on an initial loan deal.

According to Sky Sports’ Rob Dorsett, Everton are exploring the possibility of re-signing the Brazilian, who has struggled to make an impact at Spurs since his £60 million move in 2022.

The Merseyside club is looking to strengthen its attacking options amid uncertainty over the futures of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Beto.

David Moyes, who recently returned to Goodison Park, has made an immediate impact by steering the team away from relegation danger and up to 14th in the Premier League table.

Richarlison previously enjoyed a successful four-year stint at Everton, scoring 53 goals in 152 appearances and becoming a fan favourite.

However, since joining Spurs, the 27-year-old has failed to replicate that form, partly due to injury setbacks, including recurring hamstring problems this season.

Dorsett reports that Everton are keen to bring Richarlison back on loan, potentially with an obligation to buy, as they look to provide cover for his injury concerns.

Richarlison, who reportedly earns £175,000 per week, could be among several notable departures from Spurs this summer as chairman Daniel Levy begins reshaping the squad.

Players like Cristian Romero and Rodrigo Bentancur have attracted interest from Atletico Madrid, while GIVEMESPORT reports suggest Spurs are aiming to renegotiate the £42 million buy clause in Mathys Tel’s loan deal.

Meanwhile, journalist Ben Jacobs told the Market Madness podcast that Everton are likely to pursue a younger striker as an alternative to Richarlison.

Moyes has publicly praised Richarlison in the past but hasn’t confirmed any formal interest.

Everton themselves may also face player exits, which makes the need for reinforcements even more pressing.

Calvert-Lewin’s contract is set to expire next month, although he is reportedly open to extending his stay.

Leeds United, newly promoted to the Premier League, are said to be considering a move for Beto, who joined Everton for £30 million two seasons ago.
