Writing for the Liverpool Echo, former Everton player Michael Ball expressed his concerns about the team’s attacking struggles.
“We’ve got a motto that hasn’t been used for a very long time, top to bottom, at Everton Football Club,” Ball remarked.
“With the upcoming fixtures, the big worry is where the goals will come from.
Sean Dyche needs to show more bravery because these performances have been unacceptable.
“Last season’s issues are in the past. This season should focus on progress, and while the manager believes he has a stronger squad, we’re not maximizing the players’ potential.”
Dominic Calvert-Lewin faces mounting pressure to step up.
Despite Everton having three senior strikers, none have met expectations this season.
