“Confirmed: Kilman Completes £40M Transfer”

West Ham United has officially signed Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Max Kilman for £40 million.

The announcement, teased earlier this morning, is now confirmed.

“It’s an amazing feeling to be a West Ham United player,” said Kilman.

“As soon as I learned of the club’s interest, I was eager to pursue the opportunity. I’m delighted to be here.

“I thoroughly enjoyed working with Julen Lopetegui at Wolves. He’s a top-class coach, and I learned a lot from him. I am confident I will continue to improve under his management here.”

Kilman continued, “West Ham is a massive club, and this feels like a natural next step in my career.

“Playing in front of a passionate fanbase, with 62,500 supporters at London Stadium every other week, is something I am incredibly excited about.

“After speaking at length with both Julen and Tim Steidten, I was encouraged by the club’s ambition and future plans. They want to make a big impact here at West Ham, and as a new player, that’s incredible to hear.

“I’m looking forward to getting to work and preparing for an exciting season ahead.”
